Full-time Marine Engineering Role has become available. As part of a small team the successful candidate would carry out workshop and on site activities as tasked by the Engineering Manager in, support of all Proteum products and services. This would include UK, European and potentially Global travel. Key Responsibilities: · To ensure all company health & safety and environmental policies and standards are adhered to at all times · To carry out servicing, inspection, maintenance and diagnostics of Marine products to the highest standard. · To be quality driven and ensure all relevant documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner. · To ensure the scope and timing of assigned tasks are understood, completed as per requirements and in accordance with relevant working procedures. · To work in accordance with current quality procedures and advise any errors or variances to the After Sales Support Manager. Competencies, Qualifications, Experience and Company Fit · Ability to communicate effectively with customers, in writing, on the phone and in person. · Be aware of time pressures, while ensuring that the appropriate levels of quality and documentation are delivered. · Time served within the pleasure marine sector and or NVQ 3 level or above in the relevant Marine engineering qualification. Personal Attributes: · The post holder must be able to work with the minimum of supervision and communicate with all levels of management. · The post holder must be flexible and adaptable to support the nature of work undertaken and will be expected to travel frequently with the role covering UK and Europe · Good common sense with the ability to use own initiative.
