Scorpion Ribs launch their latest 10-meter STING with Alamarin Twin AJ245 & SIGMA Joystick Steering System
14-12-2023The Scorpion factory in Lymington has commissioned their latest luxury 10m Sting RIB. It is equipped with twin Alamarin water jets, identified by the plate number AJ245. The SIGMA joystick steering system, provided by Proteum, has been fitted in the boat.
The SIGMA joystick system is a product of Alamarin and offers exceptional handling and close-quarter manoeuvring. In addition to the standard configuration of Sigma Control System, AJ Intelligent Dynamics is also available as an add-on feature allowing Virtual Anchoring, Dynamic Positioning and is also USV (Unmanned Surface vehicle) ready.
Proteum’s engineers have supported the installation and carried out the commissioning of the craft. The boat is now ready and has been shipped to the Indian Ocean, where it will act as a dive boat tender.
