New Dealer in the East Coast

Proteum is delighted to announce that North Star is the latest OXE Marine dealer for the East of England.
Having already completed the OXE training sessions, the firm’s Lowestoft-based engineers, who support North Star’s fleet of vessels, will now offer servicing and support to other OXE outboards operating along the East Coast.
Simon Barnett, Sales Manager at Proteum, said: “We are thrilled to appoint North Star as the OXE Marine dealers for the East Coast of England; we have worked closely with the team at Alicat and North Star as they installed the OXE outboards aboard their fleet of hybrid daughter craft. The next logical step was to offer then the East Coast dealership. We believe this expands the quality of service and support that we provide to those who power their vessels by OXE diesel. This includes other offshore wind farm support ships and UK government patrol craft!
Peter Mantripp, North Star’s Daughter Craft Operations Manager, commented: “We are ideally placed to provide service and support to the East Coast OXE Operators, as our base and maintenance workshop facilities are located in Lowestoft. Our team of engineers have completed the training courses offered by OXE Marine in Sweden, and we have invested in the necessary tooling and diagnostics equipment as well as stock parts and engines.
We look forward to the continued collaboration with Proteum and growing the OXE brand within the offshore renewable industry.”
