Scorpion RIBs launch latest Serket 98 with Alamarin AJ245 Water Jet
29-06-2023The Serket 98 features a custom Alamarin AJ245 jet connected to a Yanmar 4LV engine via a ZF63 gearbox. The Alamarin AJ245 is the first jet in the COMBI-FRAME series and is made in Finland, while Proteum handles its distribution in the UK and Ireland.
The patented Combi-Frame technology allows designers, builders and owners maximum flexibility when locating the position of the propulsion system within the vessel.
Regarding hull installation inserts, you have a choice between LONG TAIL and SHORT TAIL configurations for the jet. The AJ 245 boasts exceptional bollard pull, cavitation limits, and acceleration, making it the top-performing jet in its size category.
