Proteum signs another Seawork contract for OXE Diesel Outboard

13-06-2019

UK & Ireland OXE distributor, Proteum, signed its second consecutive contract at Seawork yesterday for the OXE Diesel Outboard.  An OXE 200 was purchased by a Sussex based private individual to be fitted to a Gemini 780 rib for use on the West Coast of Scotland.

He commented, “The more we think about the decision to go for a diesel, especially for areas away from the South Coast, the more certain we are that we’ve made the right choice.  The OXE is a thoughtful design married with a convenient and safer fuel”.

Neil Taylor, Head of Sales for Proteum said, “This second sale highlights the confidence customers have in OXE as a reliable, safe and cost effective alternative to petrol and especially in remote regions”.

The contract follows yesterday’s announcement by Proteum that Flugga Boats signed a contract at Seawork for nine OXE150 to operate on a Shetlands seafood farm.

OXE is the only high performance diesel outboard in service and over 200 are operated worldwide.  It is available in 125-200hp options, with 250hp and 300hp coming in 2020.

Proteum is exhibiting on Stand PO12.
