Proteum is happy to announce that it will team up with Bulldog Boats and exhibit the OXE Marine 300hp diesel outboard onboard Bulldogs 7.80m open work boat at Speed@Sea and Seawork from June 11th to 13th.

Built from recyclable HDPE, this craft makes an ideal platform for harbour authorities, aquaculture, workboats, surveys, and SAR.

Berth VA22 will host demonstrations of the OXE Marine diesel outboard during Seawork 2024; we look forward to seeing you there.

March saw our latest engineering recruit, Ben Law, travel to Gran Canaria to install a new Glendinning throttle system aboard a Hatteras 54-foot Sport Fisher, which was Captained by renowned offshore fisherman Stuart Simpson.

The photos show that the original installation incorporated many complex wiring and control modules. This has now been removed and replaced with the much simpler and more functional Glendinning EEC3 Complete Controls System.

Distributed by Proteum, the Glendinning Control System can be integrated into any marine engine propulsion system, whether electronic, mechanical, inboard, or outboard.

Fully programable, the controls are also USV-ready with plug-and-play installation.
